Free Things to Do on the Sunshine Coast: Beaches, Parks and Markets

The Sunshine Coast has excellent free activities, anchored by its 60-kilometre stretch of patrolled surf beaches from Caloundra to Noosa. Noosa National Park coastal walk, one of the best headland walks in Queensland, is free to enter. The Glass House Mountains national park walking tracks are free, with paid parking at some trailheads. Eumundi Markets on Wednesday and Saturday mornings are free to browse. Caloundra's Kings Beach rock pools and Bulcock Beach are popular free options at the southern end of the coast. The Sunshine Coast Botanic Garden in Sippy Downs is free and offers a pleasant morning walk. The hinterland towns of Maleny and Montville are free to explore, with cafes and galleries concentrated along their main streets.
