Eumundi Markets: The Sunshine Coast's Famous Hinterland Market Town

The Eumundi Markets, held in the hinterland town of Eumundi about 20 kilometres northwest of Noosa, are among the most popular markets in Queensland and a genuine Sunshine Coast institution. The main market runs every Wednesday and Saturday morning, with over 600 stalls covering handmade crafts, clothing, jewellery, fresh produce, street food, art and live music. Eumundi itself is a small heritage town with cafes, galleries and boutiques open on market days. Arriving early is advisable on Saturdays, when the market and town are at their busiest. The markets are free to enter, and the Eumundi town is a short detour from the Bruce Highway between Noosa and the southern Sunshine Coast.
