Sunshine Coast Stingrays edged the Maroochydore Sharks 22-20 in rugby league on Saturday night at Sunshine Coast Stadium to keep their place in the top four of the Queensland Cup.

Average scoring across the three senior matches played on the Coast this week sat at 41 points per game, slightly above the competition mean of 38. The next round is scheduled for 18 July at the same three venues, with tickets priced from $15 for adults and free entry for juniors under 12.
