Venues report quick uptake
Staff at the Caloundra Cultural Centre added a July 28 matinee after the first three nights sold through in under 48 hours. At the Noosa Regional Gallery on Weyba Road, organisers opened a second discussion circle for the July 22 session on Homer’s influence in local writing. Both sites sit within a 40-minute drive, letting residents from Maroochydore and Buderim attend without overnight plans.
Entry costs $25 per session or $60 for the full four-part pass. The gallery recorded 312 attendees across its first two events last week, a 22 percent rise on the same July slot in 2025.
Next steps for residents
Remaining places open online through the Sunshine Coast Council site until 5 pm each Friday. Walk-up tickets are held at the Caloundra box office from 6 pm on screening nights for those who miss the cutoff.
